For Myself, the problem with viontg and actually relying in the promises of the candidates is that these big plans they are presenting almost never trickle down to the struggling legitimately starving artist . I have yet to see functioning programs that really aid the unknown faceless artist, I'm not at all saying that there are NO programs out there, I'm saying they are poorly run, poorly managed and poorly promoted and even after all the money that’s thrown at art programs poorly funded This may not be the problem or the faults of the candidates, but it seems to an everyday starving artist like myself, that they blindly throw money in the direction of the word art, with no real plans or understanding as to how this money can be designated to help all artists, not just well known popular artists, but streets artists, kids who live for the art, but have few to no avenues to express it.And when I use the word artists I'm talking about ALL artists from classical pianists to street taggers.It just seems pointless to vote for candidates with art in mind if you are a faceless nobody, because these millions of dollars they say they are throwing at art, never seem to trickle down to me.Ps.
